Hello,
With 15 years of experience as a Special Education Classroom Assistant, I have had the opportunity to support students with different learning needs, challenges, and abilities. I love helping students become more organized, confident, and successful because I believe that with the right support, patience, and encouragement, every student can develop the skills they need to reach their potential.

As an Executive Function Coach and Academic Organizer, I help students organize their schoolwork, manage assignments and deadlines, set goals, and develop strategies for keeping up with their classes.

I can also provide math tutoring and academic support when a student needs help understanding the work itself.

Math Tutoring for Students Who Need Academic Support

With over 15 years of experience working in the school system as a Special Education and Health Paraprofessional, I understand that every student learns differently. 

I provide online math tutoring for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, or other learning needs who may benefit from additional academic support. My experience working directly with students in school settings allows me to provide patient, structured, step-by-step instruction tailored to each student’s individual needs. 

I help students with math skills, homework, extra practice, and building confidence while supporting the accommodations and educational services already provided by their school. 

My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, work at their own pace, and make meaningful progress in mathematics.

Real Progress Takes Time

     Math improvement is a process, not an overnight change. During the first month, students are learning how to work with a tutor, building trust, adjusting to more intensive support, and identifying the skills they need to strengthen. The second month is when we begin reinforcing those skills through consistent practice and repetition. 

     By the third month, students are becoming more comfortable with the routine, taking greater responsibility for their work, and developing stronger study habits. 

     Meaningful academic improvement often takes one or two school marking periods to become clearly visible. 

     Every student progresses at a different pace, but consistent tutoring, practice, and effort can give students the foundation they need to become more confident, independent, and serious about their schoolwork.
